What is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied to the exterior of a vehicle. It forms an ultra-thin protective layer that helps protect against scratches, UV rays, oxidation, and more. This layer also repels water, dirt, and dust which helps maintain the shine of your paintwork for the longterm. Plus, it will make cleaning your car much easier since dirt and grime won't be able to stick to the surface as easily.

Why Ceramic Coatings?
Adding a ceramic coating for your car is the best way to preserve and protect its appearance over time. Not only does a ceramic coating provide superior protection from weather, UV rays and other environmental damage, but it also creates a hard, durable layer that shields the paint from fading while giving your vehicle that showroom-quality shine. Ceramic coatings are also hydrophobic, making them easier to clean and dry and preventing water spots or streaks. Contact Clear Vision Detailing today to get started!

benefits
Durability
Ceramic coatings are known for their durability and ability to withstand harsh weather conditions and UV exposure. They can help protect your vehicle's paint from fading and can last for several years before needing to be reapplied.
Gloss
One of the most noticeable features of car ceramic coatings is the high-gloss finish they provide. This can give your vehicle a showroom-quality shine that is difficult to achieve with traditional waxes or sealants.
Hydrophobic Properties
Many ceramic coatings are designed to be hydrophobic, which means they repel water and prevent it from sticking to the surface of the vehicle. This can help to reduce the formation of water spots and make it easier to wash and dry your car.
Easy Maintenance
Because ceramic coatings provide a durable layer of protection, they can help to make the maintenance of your vehicle easier. You may not need to wax your car as often, and the coating can make it easier to remove dirt and grime from the surface.

Yes. Although the slickness of a ceramic coating can provide a "self-cleaning" effect as it repels dirt and other road grime, regular washes are still highly recommended to ensure the coating continues to function properly. Furthermore, SB3's warranty requires biweekly hand washes in order to stay valid.
No! Once the ceramic coating is applied, there is no longer a need for wax. SB3 offer’s a “ceramic topper” which is basically a wax for ceramic coatings. If a customer is interested in adding further protection to their coating, this can be applied in place of wax.
The benefits of ceramic coatings are protection against UV rays, chemical staining, water spots, micro marring (swirl marks), lustrous shine, and extreme hydrophobic properties that produce a “self cleaning” effect, which in turn makes the vehicle easy to maintain.
SB3 offers professional grade ceramic coatings that are not available on the consumer market. In order to qualify for purchase an installer must be certified by SB3.
Unfortunately no. This is the one instance where ceramic coatings fall short. They do not protect your vehicle from rock chips or deep scratches caused by keys, fender benders, or the neighborhood kids washing cars with scotch brite pads.
We have options ranging from 1 year to 7 years. If maintained correctly, we guarantee them to last their full advertised term.
Yes! We understand not every car needs a full detail so we also offer less intensive options such as our hand wash and our wash & wax package.
